'Fred, Is That You'? Children’s book, 1992
Finding Fred has never been more fun than in this charming, lift-the-flap book. The plot is simple: The protagonist (a duck) is looking for Fred (a fellow duck), but the only clue he has is a picture of said Fred. Following the tracks left by various animals, he asks each in turn, "Fred, is that you?" Lifting a flap reveals a cow named Bea, a snake in the fridge, and a sunbathing crow but no Fred. Sharp-eyed readers may think that they know where Fred is, but more surprises are in store in this humorous story sure to have your kids asking, "Is that you, Fred?"
